wasn’t too long ago this sort of gaming set the standard. But home games are out and arcades are back in.. with this. This is a video game called, very accurately I might say, “Kick Arse Kung Fu.” It’s called embodied gaming and you can defy gravity just like the best action heroes. The game takes place on a five-metre mat, suitable for acrobatics and martial arts. It starts as soon as you step on the mat.
Game Play: oh, look how high I jump.
A video camera converts your image into a fast video motion computer program. You’ll be leaping high and kicking hard to inflict damage and gain points. It’s projected on two screens at once, so it’s a real 3-D experience. You can sneak up on opponents and they can attack you from behind.
Game Player: Oh, he’s back…for more.
The game handles any number of live players simultaneously and recognizes weapons like axes, swords, and nunchakus.
Developed in Finland, “Kick Arse Kung Fu” is a real workout.
Game Player: I don’t like this guy.
