(1)多媒体课件呈现人物
T:Today I’ll introduce you a new friend. This is John.
(2)多媒体课件呈现教室上课的场景,镜头推进,出现学生缺席的空座位。
T: John isn’t in the classroom, Where’s John? Please, guess.
S: Is John at home?
T: Maybe.
S2:Is he in the toy shop / Supermarket?
T: Maybe.
(3)多媒体呈现对话情景。
A: Hi, Liu Tao, Where is John?
Is he in the classroom?
B: No, he is at home, He’s ill.
A: Is he? I’ll go and see him this afternoon.
Where is his home?
B: Sorry, I don’t know, You may call him.
A: Do you know his telephone number?
B: Yes, It’s 3487129.
A: Sorry?
B: It’s 3487129.
A: Thank you.
B: That’s all right.
学生听完录音,回答问题:“Where’s John?”
(4)多媒体画面呈现一幢房子。
T: This is John’s home. Is he at home? But where is he? In which room?
S1erhaps he’s in the bedroom.
(5)画面出现房子的窗子打开,John躺在床上的镜头。
T: Why is John lying on the bed? What’s the mother with him?
S2:He’s ill.
(6)多媒体屏幕打出整个对话内容,用醒目的红色标出对话重点、难点。教师领读。接着游戏操练,黑板上画两个月牙,一个代表老师,一个代表学生,采取师生比赛说句子的形式,每说一个句子在月亮旁加一颗小星星。总结比赛结果,同时复习数字,引出电话号码。

(7)教师拿出一个房子模型,让一位学生戴上头饰扮演John.
T: John, please go home.
扮演John的学生走到“房子”后面。
T: John is at home now. He’s ill.
教师拿出一束鲜花。
T: I’ll go and see him. Where is his home?
S1: Sorry, I don’t know. You may call him.
T: Do you know his telephone number?
S1:It’s 3487129
T: Sorry?
S1: 3487129.
T: Thank you.
S1: That’s all right.
(8) 将鲜花分发给各个小组,让学生分角色操练表演对话。
